With regard to HERGs starting to nest (more) on Green Island off CSI, could this possibly be related to the total inundation during the new moon in June of the HERG colony on the island in the inlet at Daniel's Head? The whole area was under water around10pm and I could hear the screams of the adults as the nests and chicks drowned for hours that night (also an on-shore wind making things worse). Meanwhile, happy to hear you found the relocation to Gull Island of the Roseates! Pinned it on my map....
